Julie Says No band members

Julie Says No is a 4-piece group of experienced local musicians: (L-R) Nigel Houghton on guitar, Don Ault on drums, Julie Fanning on lead vocals, and Tim Knox on bass.

We have been performing in the DC area for years, playing venues such as Farm Brew LIVE, Malone’s, World of Beer, Spanky’s Shenanigans, the Winery at Bull Run, Lost Rhino Brewing Co., and Lion & Bull, to name a few. Each of us brings our own spin to covers of songs by the likes of Susan Tedeschi, Alabama Shakes, Jimi Hendrix, North Mississippi Allstars, CCR and Gary Clark, Jr…among so many others.

This 3-day event, hosted by the Alexandria, VA Elk's Lodge 758, is an annual fundraising event that honors veterans and is open to the public. Julie Says No is honored to have been invited to play again on Sunday, May 26, of Memorial Day weekend. This is the last date Rolling Thunder will take place. So if you participate in the ride, come by afterward for some good food, cold beverages and live music as well as a tribute to those who fought in battles for our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The time we play is still being worked out, but we will post as soon as we find out. Food & beverages will be available and there will be raffles. If you're free and in the DC area, come join us!  ~MORE INFO is coming from the Elk's Lodge.
