Julie Says No band members

Julie Says No is a 4-piece group of experienced local musicians: (L-R) Nigel Houghton on guitar, Don Ault on drums, Julie Fanning on lead vocals, and Tim Knox on bass.

We have been performing in the DC area for years, playing venues such as Farm Brew LIVE, Delirium Cafe, World of Beer, Spanky’s Shenanigans, the Winery at Bull Run, Sinistral Brewing Co., Lost Rhino Brewing Co., and Lion & Bull, to name a few. Each of us brings our own spin to covers of songs by the likes of Susan Tedeschi, Alabama Shakes, Jimi Hendrix, North Mississippi Allstars, CCR and Gary Clark, Jr…among so many others. But we like to bring a bit of a gritty edge to a lot of the tunes we cover.
